About Us

 

I started out in the industry working in the computer department at the CSUN Matador Bookstore introducing the world, or at least the student body, to the IBM PC XT (with the 10MB hard drive!) and a short time later to the first Macintosh computer.

SAS Unlimited was launched in 1984 to build and support 'PC Compatible' computers for local businesses.  We expanded into software development and created a DOS-based address label maker application database, complete with a dot matrix printer, which turned out to be very popular with local insurance agencies and parent companies.  I then spent several years in IT support and technical operations for the banking industry followed by over 14 years in various IT roles at Disney.  

My family has lived in Stevenson Ranch since 1999 and Stevenson Ranch Computers was created to offer an honest, reliable alternative to the chain store service departments at much more reasonable prices.  We come to you and offer both in-home service and pick up/drop off service.  Our pick up/drop off service has become a great success as you get the benefit of in-shop cost savings along with a no charge pick up and return service.
